My boyfriend and I were in Atlanta for just a few days so we thought we would try this tour. What a wonderful way to experience Atlanta. Don't think twice about it. It's well worth the money!! John made all the difference. His love for mid town was evident. He had some well chosen restaurants. The walking in between the restaurants was a good chance to walk off the food and see mid town. It was a small group and the two ladies we were with were lovely. This is a total "must do tour" for any foodie.

Hello Ms. M.!! (And a Hello to J. too!) Thanks for sharing all the food and fun...without giving away any of the details!! The mystery of "What's next?" is half the fun! You four, wandering up and down Peachtree Street, were...Yep!...quite the lovely group. Lots of little conversations that ended in big smiles! I even heard some out-loud grins! Safe travel! I see more food tours in your future!! My best to you both!! John

I could not have been more pleased and delighted to join John for a tour of some of the most popular restaurants in Midtown. He was a great host with his knowledge of the area helping me understand the history of the city. John was very personable and outgoing making the small group of six feel chummy and comfortable. I highly recommend this food tour if you want to have a taste of the town along with gaining an acquaintance with the area. Thank you, John! Much love --Dana and Brian--

Hey Dana! Yep! I would agree that your group developed a great chemistry and ended up truly "feeling chummy"! Lots of laughs as everyone was up for some fun...and then there was all that food! Attention TA readers: Dana hung on to my phone # and later gave me a quick call to help her find somewhere to park...and where not to park. Be a smart traveler and ask a local for help. We really do want you to enjoy our city...especially our neighborhood! And we might be able to save you from that sad after-dining surprise...a parking ticket! (Or worse!) :) Dana, Thanks for taking a moment to share your thoughts! My best to both you and Brian! Don't be strangers to my neighborhood! John

Truly not to be missed. Just did the tour Sunday, March 5th when I had a family member come to Atlanta for the first time and we got a taste of a little bit of everything from history to great little out of the way pubs and some tidbits of information about things I didn't know about my Midtown Atlanta neighborhood and I have lived here for 30 years! John is a fabulous host/tour operator who doesn't know a stranger. His knowledge of the restaurants in this unique area of Atlanta is unsurpassed. While I had eaten at many of the restaurants on the tour, being there with our group of 8 (we did not know one another prior to the tour) was a gastronomical treat. We sampled things I didn't normally order and loved every delicious bite! At Johns direction, we were treated to the true flavor of Atlanta's best loved walking & restaurant neighborhood. So good in fact that I posted the tour information on my condo's Facebook page and I have referred Peachtree Food Tours 3 times already. Pricey...not at all when you consider the return on investment. Seems to be priced just right in my opinion. Don't want to miss this one!

Hey Solo! If you don't mind...whenever I hear the comment, "Why should I take a food tour in my own city?", I'm just going to send them your terrific review!! Wow! Thank you! The goal of any food tour is to introduce you to out-of-the-way, hidden dining gems, taste some of the choices that you wouldn't have typically ordered, and then there's plenty of "tidbits of information" that always enrich the history of the town you call home. Plus, part of my job as a guide is to be able to even suggest restaurants not in my neighborhood, encouraging my guests to explore all that Atlanta has to offer. The treat (and great learning opportunity!) is to ask my folks who have lived here for years, "What's your favorite BBQ joint? Where do you go for Italian? Who's the best when I need a Mexican fix? When you think romantic, which restaurant do you recommend?" Those answers certainly help me...but when the other guests are travelers, what a gift they're getting from locals!! Yep! I agree! TA readers: You "don't want to miss this one!" Solo, I'll keep an eye out for you on Peachtree Street! My best! John
