Tara was great in giving us all the information about the places we saw. She had great suggestions and let us go at our pace. She was very knowledgeable and very friendly and courteous. I would recommend this to anyone that was new to Milwaukee. I could tell about parts of the tour, but it would be hard to pick any out over the other. I don't know how the other guides are, but I would ask for Tara if I were giving advise to anyone.

Too much down time. The first one hour and 35 minutes we only went to one restaurant, the German restaurant. It was the best one. It’s unique and fun. We were told the story of the restaurant, food and drinks. It went downhill from there. I don’t understand why we had to walk for half an hour just to have a regular drink, cheese curds, or fried fish or flies. You will do a lot of walking and get very little of the significant story/background of the food and drink. I don’t need to hear the stories of the building or the city, I got that from the city tour. This is a food tour. Stay focus on the food. If there’s this much walking a mini bus or golf car need to be provided. The last stop was frozen custard in a mall. No one explained to me why we had to walk half an hour to eat this. It tastes like regular ice cream in a regular ice cream polar. I booked this tour because of the great reviews I read. Personally I do not recommend this tour.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review about our Milwaukee Walking Food Tour, Julie. It’s our regret that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. We always strive to balance the culinary delights with the historical and architectural context of the city, as we believe this enriches the overall experience. However, we understand that in your case, the elements of historical and architectural details did not align with your preferences, especially since you had already explored the city's background on another tour. Regarding our food selections, we generally receive positive feedback about the variety and quality of our stops. Each location is carefully chosen to represent different aspects of Milwaukee’s food scene, and it’s disappointing to learn that these did not stand out for you. Your feedback is invaluable to us, as it helps us refine and improve our tours. If you have specific suggestions on the type of food or experiences you were hoping for, we would love to hear them at [email protected]. We are always looking for ways to enhance our tours to better meet the preferences of our guests. Thank you once again for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more satisfying experience in the future.

Definitely a walking tour compared to other food tours we have done. Very pleasant experience. Tom did a great job mixing historical facts with cultural facts. He did not rush us and allowed our group to socialize. Would recommend 10/10
