I will do this again. It was a very good way to learn the language and culture of New Zealand and the Maori nation. OMG! very informative. The dances and explanations of the movements, different instruments and how it is played, huts and homes of the Maori peeps from the beginning, how they arrived in NZ, trials and tribulations and most of all, how the Maori people take care of the land, eating nothing but healthy foods and how they care for their animals. took a tour of the village and saw Glowworms as well. Amazing! They have glowworms in their shrubs and plants. The preparation for the food we ate for dinner was also amazing. Have never seen anything like this. The food was sooo good, delicious, a lot. There was a speaker before the whole program who spoke different languages and acknowledged each and every visitor according to their country of origin. It was not long but nevertheless very entertaining and he was humorous. Went on the first month of spring - September- still cool when the sun comes down so bring a sweater. We availed of the free pick-up from our hotel and it was so convenient.

Amazing Hangi Buffet Meal! The guides were very hospitable and we had learnt a lot about the Maoris from the tour. Loved the Haka Dance and Performance too!
