Fun, relaxing float down the river. Because of the time of year, it was mild with just a few places of mellow rapids, but this was explained to us at thr beginning, so it met our expectations.

Mild & Wild is a top-notch organization with stellar people. Jessica helped me out of a jam while traveling, and Sara(h?) and Olivia were incredible guides. And our bus driver was kind and so skilled. Outstanding individuals, each of them. The people really make the trip. The 1/2 day river trip was lazy and fun. The rapids were small and not very long, but fun to see and go over. I went swimming, and it was pretty cool to float down the Colorado river amongst the towering red rocks. Things I wish I had known: Bring warm dry clothes, and leave everything on the bus. You will get wet and muddy. The guides had water on the boat. I didn’t really need more, or anything else. Sunglass tether is a must. Waterproof phone case or bag is a must. They sell those at the Mild & Wild checkin. Quick dry clothes are best. If you want some serious white water for a half day tour, you’ll have to go with a diff company. Mild & Wild does some full day or multi-day on bigger rapids, but not half-day. Great staff. Great company.
