Overview

Castle Valley is the poster child for western landscapes, and you’ve probably already seen it somewhere in a movie, TV show, or commercial. And if somehow you have, in fact, never laid eyes on Castle Valley before, you’re not going forget it once you do!

This serene section of the Colorado River moseys through a big beautiful red-rock canyon. As for the waters here along the Colorado River, it stays pretty warm from late spring to early fall.

You’ll spend most of your time floating, with a few Class II rapids to cool you off along the way. Expect plenty of fascinating interpretations and fun stories from your river guide on this mild trip!

The rafting trip was very nice. There was a lot of wind, but our guide, Ashley, worked very hard to keep our raft on track. The other staff were all very enthusiastic and competent, too.

We had an awesome time with our fantastic, knowledgeable, skilled, and very witty guide, Sean. We knew that the river would be low at this time of year but it was NOT a snooze. Highlight was Sean's sighting of three bighorn sheep far above us. Highly recommend the experience, the company, and The Guide!

We actually did a AM jeep tour and PM rafting trip. Shaun was our guide for the jeep tour was fun run up Onion Creek. Loved walking the narrows. The afternoon we did the PM rafting with Dean as our guide. It was a windy day but had a great time on the river. Would highly recommend bonus for the ride along scenic 128.
