We are a family of 5 kids aged 10-13 and we had such a blast on this trip! My husband is a bit nervous about adventurous things like this esp with the kids but another friend told us this is the perfect introduction and they were correct! It was incredibly mild! Almost more of a float with a few spots that you get splashed. Our guide (Dean) was incredible- he answered our 1.000 questions, taught us about the river- the land- and the area! We so enjoyed our time and would 10/10 recommend this to others esp if you have kids!

Great day out on the water. It was definitely a "mild" float with little to no rapids, but that was expected at this time of year. Our guides, Sam and Gavin, made up for the lack of rapids with encyclopedic knowledge of rock formations, Moab history and plenty of humor. Perfect way to relax and cool off during the hottest part of the day. Highly recommend - but suggest May/June if you're hoping for action on the river.

Gavin was great! He was very knowledgeable about the river, rock formations, and was very personable. We’re already planning a rerun trip in the Spring of 2023 to experience higher classes of rapids. May even plan a 5 or 6 day trip, but we will be back. Again, we really liked Gavin.
