Namy was a great guide. Lots of fun and knowledgeable. We had our own private geologist! She also kept an eye out for my son who had fresh stitches ensuring he didn’t get too wet.

We really enjoyed the raft trip itself. It was a perfect trip with our grandson's (ages 8 and 4) It was mild most of the time allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery. There were several times where there was a little bit of white water which added some excitement for the kids. The guide also allowed them to paddle (if they wanted) and they really enjoyed that part as well. We wished our guide was more knowledgeable about the area. And although he shared some information, we had several questions that he wasn't able to answer. Also, the wait was very long (too long) before being able to get on the river. We waited at least 45 min. at the check in location, then of course about a 45 min. drive, and then waited probably another 30-45 min at the boat launch locations. So, it was around 2.25 - 2.5 hours before even getting on the river. It sort of messed up our plans for the remainder of the day, putting us late for other activities.

Our guide John was great. Great family activity. The rapids were mild and the scenery was beautiful. Would recommend this this for families that want a nice peaceful time while still enjoying the landscape.
