This tour includes Slick Rock, Hells Gate, Mickeys Hot Tub, Car Wash Hot Tub, Escalator, Cowboy Hill, Really Steep Hill, and the Colorado River Overlook! These are named obstacles (difficult rated) parts of the trail that no other company in Moab will offer you - not even with a rental.

What To Expect

Hell's Revenge

This is not a comparable tour to any of the Jeep or Hummer Tours. This trip is about going to do all of the things that they aren't doing. We go further, and cover more ground in the same amount of time. This trip includes all obstacles on the trail that you won'e even see with someone else. These obstacles are "Mickeys Hot Tub" "Car Wash Hot Tub" "Hells Gate" and "Escalator". All ages are welcome - proper safety equipment and professional drivers are provided.

I was terrified the whole time but so worth it! My kids and husband said it was highlight of our trip. Garrett was an excellent driver and tour guide. Amazing views and photos of sunset. Definitely recommend.

Booked the Xtreme Sunset tour for my family. Upon checking in for our trip I learned that because we were the only party on the tour it would be a private tour one of their smaller vehicles. I was totally disappointed that my family of 3 wouldn't be riding in one of their bigger vehicles but a small 4-door "Golfcart on steroids". We met the driver Garrett and my first question was would we be able to do the same obstacles as the bigger vehicle and he said it could. We started out on the tour and within a few minutes realized this was NOT a Golfcart! We were able to do some amazing trails and obstacles that I would never have guessed would be possible in the vehicle we were in! We went through some of the most famous obstacles such as Hell's Gate, The Escalator (Wow, scary but fun!) as well as going through one of the Hot Tubs (was disappointed we couldn't go through Mickey's but still had a blast). Garrett was amazing. Being a little nervous my wife and I asked many questions about his experience riding the trails of Moab...he didn't disappoint! He had been traveling to Moab for most of his life and has lived here for many years. He has been a 4x4 enthusiast since birth! He told some of the best stories about the trails and showed incredible knowledge. He assisted another group of trail riders who had a vehicle stuck in one of the Hot Tubs. He knew exactly what the driver needed to do to get their vehicle out successfully. Later in our tour the same group asked for Garrett's advice to get up the Escalator. He climbed up the Escalator and helped spot the vehicle. Garrett KNEW his business...a true expert in off-roading. This was an amazing tour full of white knuckle excitement. Was so glad we went on the trip, my family was truly impressed! I still want to go again in one of their big rigs though!!!!

Thank you so much for this excellent feedback Richard, and I am so glad you brought this up. YES due to COVID and group sizes - sometimes we will move your group to a smaller machine. These machines are 110% capable of putting on an excellent show on the slickrock and really turning it up a notch for a private tour. They are fun, zippy, and comfortable. Although we understand some guests really have their heart set on riding in one of our larger custom built vehicles these do not dissapoint - and actually make some parts more exciting that it would have been in a larger truck. We are offering the options to pay for the 4th seat and reserve a larger vehicle (groups of 3 or less) or be combined with others for a larger vehicle. During this time we're really leaving it up to the guests and trying to be as flexible as we can during these weird times. We're so happy to hear that you had an excellent experience with Gerrit in the kawisakis for our Xtreme tour, and we hope you'll be back for some more adventure next time.

This was my first time doing an off road tour and it was awesome! Gerrit did an excellent job. Not only was he entertaining but he made it all look easy. I have to admit the next day I was wondering what obstacles I could take my 4Runner on. I highly recommend this for a great time in Moab!
