This tour includes Slick Rock, Hells Gate, Mickeys Hot Tub, Car Wash Hot Tub, Escalator, Cowboy Hill, Really Steep Hill, and the Colorado River Overlook! These are named obstacles (difficult rated) parts of the trail that no other company in Moab will offer you - not even with a rental.

What To Expect

Hell's Revenge

This is not a comparable tour to any of the Jeep or Hummer Tours. This trip is about going to do all of the things that they aren't doing. We go further, and cover more ground in the same amount of time. This trip includes all obstacles on the trail that you won'e even see with someone else. These obstacles are "Mickeys Hot Tub" "Car Wash Hot Tub" "Hells Gate" and "Escalator". All ages are welcome - proper safety equipment and professional drivers are provided.

We had an amazing experience with Gerrit as our driver on the Xtreme 4x4 3 hour experience. Gerrit knew the area very well and was an excellent driver - we did all the obstacles and felt very safe the whole time. Other people would even line up to watch us go through the obstacles. Highly recommend doing this tour.

It's impossible to imagine a more exciting tour and guide than Gerrit. Wow! He chose the most difficult trails,and ran some of them forward, then backward, then a repeat of both. He does stuff no one ever does. Go for it!

Taking this tour is like being a live participant in the X Games. Vin Diesel would be very impressed. There is no other tour operator who will drive you up and over these most difficult challenges of Hells Revenge: Carwash, Mickeys Hot Tub, Escalator, Hells Gate, and more. No other driver, professional or amateur, has the skill to make these difficult challenges seem like a "Cruise by the Beach". We never once had to "back up" or "try it again". If you search these challenges, you will not see anyone do it as smoothly as we did. Yes, this is the experience of a lifetime. And no, it was never scary. And I am scared to death of a roller coaster. Three keys to their success: 1. The vehicle is hand built specifically to carry lots of people over these crazy obstacles. There are only 2 of these in Moab, both at Xtreme 4X4. 2. The driver, Gerrit Ralston, is way beyond experienced. The other tour operators greeted him with the utmost respect. They drove their customers to watch Gerrit conquer these challenges with a full load of passengers. And he made it look easy every time! 3. Lacy, in the office, will roll her red carpet out to answer all your questions, make sure you are comfortable, and happy with your experience. And Lacy knows where the best bargains are in their souvenir store. Tip: If you want a bouncy ride, sit in the back row like I did. Lacy can explain.
