Read all the low reviews for this before booking. Many were because people were late and the boat left without them. Not sure why that would be the companies fault. Some had trouble finding the dock and boat. They sent perfectly detailed instructions and it was an easy to find them. Again, not the business fault and shouldn’t get low stars for that. Others said captain was rude or not helpful. He was kind of a wise cracking guy. I found him funny and entertaining. I guess some may want super buttoned up professional so maybe they didn’t find him quite proper enough but he was more than fine and appropriate. They have 2 people in the water the whole time as the group snorkels. I have snorkeled tons and don’t need assistance and yet I was even asked like 5-6 times by the workers in the water if I was doing OK and if things were fine. Bottom line, every tour that does turtle canyon is going to the same spot. There are lots of boats and people there. Not sure how any experience can stand out more than another because you all end up snorkeling in the same place. Our gear was great. We saw turtles and fish. The boat had everything we would need. And we paid much less than almost every other trip. I guess we didn’t get lunch and free booze but it was perfectly fine for me

The staff was very knowledgeable and super friendly!!! Got a lot of time in the ocean and got to see a lot of turtles and so many different fish!! Definitely a must do!!

Great and helpful staff that assists you with the equipment. The boat has a great ladder that allows easy access in and out of the ocean. Staff stays in the water with you at all times to make sure you’re safe and helps you find wildlife.
