Staff was great! No complaints there, and all of my reviews have nothing to do with what anyone had control of. Weather was a tiny bit cool, yet warm enough to still take in the sun, just a bit windy. We saw a turtle or two on our way to the snorkeling spot. While snorkeling for about 45 minutes, didn’t see any turtles and just a few variety of fish in what I would say was murky waters. This was a 2:30 trip, perhaps waters and wildlife better on the 8:30 one. Many years ago, I had the most amazing snorkeling adventure here in Hawaii, but I think they took us further out and away from Waikiki. I also think due to global warming, wildlife and the water continues to suffer through the years, which is why now Haunama Bay now charges and you need reservations, to try to preserve the reef by slowing down the visitors. I had this same murky experience at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, where snorkeling is suppose be phenomenal.
