What To Expect
1
Larkin House
Larkin House, built in the 1830s by Thomas Larkin, is one of Monterey’s oldest and most haunted landmarks. The spirit of Larkin’s wife is said to roam the halls, with visitors reporting cold spots and the sound of footsteps when no one is around. The house’s history as a social hub during California’s early days seems to have left a few guests behind.
2
The Monterey Hotel Spa
The Monterey Hotel, a historic boutique hotel, is known for its ghostly residents. Guests have reported strange occurrences, including the sound of footsteps in empty hallways and the sensation of being watched. The hotel’s Victorian charm is accompanied by eerie encounters that leave a lasting impression.

Interesting facts but seemed to go by very fast for what we paid (under an hour). I also feel like some of the facts were incorrect like using plastic spoons in the 1800’s and although our tour guide was friendly I think either he is new or not super familiar with the history of this area yet.

My wife and I had a great time on our anniversary (Halloween). We ended our day with this tour and couldn't have made a better decision then to do so. Our guide Adam was very knowledgeable about each stop and always added a little comic relief to lighting our mood and help keep us engaged. The regular tour was great, but if you can tough it out. I totally recommend the extended tour with the bonus stops. The last stop at the mission was the coolest most creepy stop of all in my opinion. We would totally do this tour again.
