Our tour guide, Sheldon Finkelstein drove 4 hours each way to Monument Valley from Sedona. We had a total of 4 people so the rest stops was minimal. During the drive, Sheldon highlighted many points of interest during our drive through Sedona, Flagstaff and the Navajo Reservation. We were staying at an Air BNB, and drove 15 minutes to a Marriott Hotel for the pickup and drop off. The tour was expected to be 11 to 12 hours. When we got to the Monument Valley, the red rock landscape was pictures of art. We had lunch at the Navajo Nation Museum & Visitor's Center. The Navajo Museum had the history of the Navajo Code Breakers. We met our Navajo guide, and he gave a tour that included John Ford's cinema location with John Wayne. Our guide also showed us his mother's Navajo hogan. Though the drive was a total of 8 hours, the tour was worth it. The weather was cool and windy in March. Wyeman & Carolyn

Great scenery. Wonderful rocks. Good guides. Very long day. Great experience. Took snacks and needed them but plenty of opportunities to purchase. Had enough bathroom stops. Provided water and encouraged everyone to dri k - you need that in the dry air. Comfortable bus. Good driver. Provided lunch.
