What To Expect

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

Our tour guide Sean was very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. Would highly recommend him to anyone that wants to experience Monument Valley.

Great tour but the guide never stopped talking. It was good when he was talking about the history and culture of the Navajo people but sometimes he drifted into other areas where I found his comments inaccurate or inappropriate. I highly recommend the tour but would want a different guide.

Interesting review. Our guides have all been with us for many many years. All have studied extensively and not only study but have lived here their whole lives. All have come from very traditional backgrounds. We are about telling the truth and none of our guides would ever make something up. They do share their perspectives. Their perspectives may not always be what you read in a book. They share from what is handed down through oral history or from life experiences. Our guides give their all to each and every person. We would appreciate it if you would contact us directly with more information on what you feel was inaccurate or inappropriate. We always try to match personalities and love when our guests reserve directly so we can give them a great experience that fits them perfectly. It is not always possible to do with online reservations. We are sincerely sorry you didn’t personally like your guide. My wife and I enjoyed a pleasant trip into the back area of MV. Our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. I would recommend this trip to anyone.
