Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

We had three trips with Navajo Spirit Tours. Communication was great and booking was easy. Larson was our driver and guide for sunset trip to Hunt’s Mesa, a Sunrise trip in Monument Valley and a Sunset trip in Monument Valley. I cannot say enough good things about Larson. He was on time, he is an excellent driver, he is very personable, and he has a deep knowledge about the Monument Valley area (geography, wildlife) as well as Navajo history and culture. Larson is also an excellent photographer so he is a great resources for the best location to take pictures. I would recommend Navajo Spirit Tours to anyone.

I could not ask for a better guide to have one of the most meaningful, memorable experiences, and a very special tour of the Monument Valley. Very appreciative of Lance’s knowledge and dedication to share sacred land of his people with us, travelers. If I’m back to Monument Valley I won’t be hiring anyone else.

Better than many of the national parks and monuments I have been to, Monument Valley has a rich history and a landscape that makes you feel impossibly small. 10/10 would recommend! Our tour guide, Will Cowboy, was awesome—knowledgeable and eager to teach a little of his culture. We really appreciated it. - Don’t forget to be respectful; you’re a guest here. Tip your guides, and enjoy your time. Oh! And always try go to parks off season—it helps with revenue and you’ll have the place to yourself probably.
