What To Expect

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park

Your guide would take you to see the beautiful iconic buttes, spires and mesas that have made Monument Valley famous on part of the 17 mile loop drive. We would then go to the back country restricted areas of the Tribal Park to stand beneath the natural arches, amp theaters and get right up close to the Anasazi petroglyphs. Our guides are so kind and would explain the traditional meanings of each location, history, and culture while answering any question that you might think of. Navajo Spirit Tours does not shy away from some of the spiritual topics that you might not hear about on a regular day. We do try our best in the short amount of time that we have with each of our guests to teach as much as we can while you are here. We do look forward to meeting you!

My wife and I took this tour with Meisha many years ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it. So we took our son and daughter in law on it this Saturday. We were blessed to have the owner, Gary Holiday as our guide. He was a very nice, extremely knowledgeable, and caring tour guide. His deep knowledge of the history of the Navajo, and other tribes in the Southwest was amazing. He played his drum, flute, and sang for us on the tour as well, transporting us to a calm, spiritual place. It was incredible. I highly recommend using Navajo Spirit Tours if you are considering a tour of Monument Valley.

We had a great time and an even greater visit thanks to Will Cowboy, our Navajo guide. He was fun, had a lot of stories to share and we could feel how proud he is of his people. The scenery was sublime. The visit to the hogan was very informative. We highly recommend the tour.
