Experience the enchantment of Monument Valley, immerse yourself in the Navajo culture and spend a night in a traditional Navajo Hogan.

The traditional Hogan Overnight experience is a tour package that includes various activities. It starts with a 2.5 hour evening tour through the iconic landscape of Monument Valley and allows you to explore backcountry routes and restricted areas. After the evening tour a traditional Navajo dinner will await you deep in the valley close to Rain God Mesa followed by a special entertainment program during which you can enjoy some tradition dancing, chanting, drumming and storytelling while sitting around a campfire. You will then spend the night in a traditional Navajo Hogan. The next morning our Navajo guide will take you on another tour to witness the beautiful sunset over Monument Valley. The tour will conclude with a continental style breakfast.

I felt like we had the best tour guide for sure! He spoke of his childhood growing up in Monument Valley, he taught us some words from the hardest language in the world. Played music and shared things only he would know about the valley. And that’s what I really wanted, I wanted to be connected to the land and the people when I was there. Stanley, my tour guide, was knowledgeable and made the entire journey unforgettable. The sunset tour offered breathtaking views, and staying overnight in a hogan was a unique cultural experience. SO GOOD ! A experience we will never forget. Our guide Cody was so good. Everything about the tour, dinner, Navajo culture and overnight in the Hogan and breakfast was more than we expected. Being outside at sunset, sunrise and night, looking up at the most stars you could ever imagine and realizing that you are in the middle of one of the most beautiful places in the world brought tears to our eyes. If you are looking for a luxury hotel and a restaurant this is not for you, or just well to learn what's really important. This is for those who know the true beauty of what the world is without all of the distractions.
