So this was totally worth the money. Our tour guide (Tony) was so knowledgeable and engaging and ever so willing to help us get the best pictures.

The tour with Monument Valley Safari was fantastic. Our open air vehicle had cushioned bench seats that provided comfort even during bumpy parts of the drive. The cover over us provided adequate shade for us in the heat. Our guide Toney shared the stories and names of the points of interest, and knew the best areas for photos. He was mindful of the time, and even with a delay in starting the tour, he ensured that we got to all of the points of interest, while still finding time to sing and drum for us. I would highly recommend this tour for its access and tour guide’s depth of knowledge. With the tour, you are able to see areas not accessible on the self-guided path. The beauty of the area is breathtaking. Side note: the wind that goes through the valley and through the open air vehicle is no joke, so either leave your hat in the car or ensure it has a tie around your neck!

What a fantastic day! Our guide was Toney, and he not only knows everything there is to know about the Valley, he also had tips for taking the best photos, and even on what settings to use! The place itself is awe-inspiring, but there is no way we would have gotten even half the experience without booking a tour with a knowledgeable guide.
