Monument Valley Safari. Guide Tony. Extraordinary afternoon. In addition to the awesome Monument Valley buttes, we saw petroglyphs, and pictographs, the latter of which was preceded by a hike across the Valley floor. There were only two of us on this tour (thanks to no shows), which probably explains the number and variety of stops, but wow what a tour, what an afternoon. Going back soon to stay more nights at the View and take the tour!

Our tour guide (Tony) gave a great story, history, explanation and demonstration. His drumming inside the caves gave a spiritual experience and his photography skills gave us incredible tangible memories.
