Comasheena, our guide, provided an extraordinary experience. She was friendly, extremely knowledgeable in photography, and totally in tune with the land and nature. She tailored the tour to our interest in photography, and knew when the sun would be in position for the perfect shot at each location. Being with a professional Native American guide, allowed us to take trails to sites not available to the general public. On my previous visit to the Valley, I drove my personal car. Do yourself a favor, don't even think about driving yourself. The dust and uneven terrain will take a toll on your vehicle.

We were able to book this tour at the last minute after arriving in Monument Valley. Within 20 minutes we were met by two Monument Valley guides that led us to the starting location where we joined our sweet tour guide, Comasheena. My parents and I climbed up into her big enclosed 4-wheel drive for a fun and exciting 3 hour tour! We were delighted to visit all the monuments we had seen in the old westerns and drive up private roads (only accessible to tour groups) to see arches and Navajo hieroglyphics. Our guide even helped us with our picture taking! We had a fun time and got to see the beautiful sunset behind the monuments! I highly recommend Monument Valley Safari tours. They were so accommodating to helping us find our way there, help my dad get in and out of the big 4 x 4, and make sure we enjoyed our tour. Thank you Comasheena for all your help and the great tour!
