Highly recommended tour to see the sights of the valley - you don't have to drive and deal with the road and you get to see parts of the valley closed to the public. Lee was a great guide and took us all over the restricted area to see lots of cool features I would not have imagined - many large arches and gaping holes in overhangs. It was nice also to be out away from the large crowds on the valley drive - at times it felt like we were the only ones back there. Lee was very friendly and informative and shared some great photography tips and a few fun photo tricks using the Pano version of the iPhone. The safari truck was a great way to see it all too - covered and out of the sun, with a nice breeze to keep us cool while we had great views on all sides. I can't overstate how nice it was not to be behind the wheel of my Class B RV on that road! The company was also really great about helping us recover from our own dumb mistake in when the tour started - we had it off by 30 minutes but one call and Shay and Charlene got it all fixed and put us on another tour with Lee. That was really nice of them because by all rights they could have just left us and said too bad, no refund if you are late. I'm grateful they were great about it and fixed it all for us so we could enjoy it.

Be sure to go with a tour guide. We had such a great experience with ours. We learned a lot about the Navajo people and about the area.
