This was an awesome 3.5 hour during tour, going into some of the restricted areas of Monument Valley that one would not be able to visit without a guide. As our tour was mid-December and it was rather cold, we were worried to be exposed to the cold but that was not needed as our tour was in a fully closed heated vehicle. Our tour guide Toney, was very kind and informative. He told us all about all the special places and rocks in the valley and kindly shared a lot of interesting stories from his own and the Navajo experiences. Also, he shared two of his songs with us in a special place in the park. He also shared some useful photography tips with us that we would have never come up with by ourselves. All around a great tour, highly recommended!

This was a wonderful tour of Monument Valley. Toney met us on time at The View Hotel pickup location (outside the lobby and down some stairs there is a small covered area where vehicles can pull around). He had a big white Tahoe with Monument Valley Safari decals on the side. It was very comfortable but a big climb to get up inside! One tip, he will ask if you have purchased the Navajo Tribal Park entry pass. We arrived at the hotel after hours the night before and the ticket office was closed so we drove back out to purchase one before the tour. He gave an overview of the area, then stopped at many places to get out, take photos, and tell stories about the features. He knows where all the great locations are and takes a lot of photos with your camera. Taking this tour, you get to explore areas that are off limits to those taking the driving tour on their own. It's out here that Toney really shines -so many quiet and wonderful places! He is eager to share his stories and culture. The tour was scheduled for 3.5 hours but we ended up back to the hotel after a little more than 4 hours. Nothing felt rushed, he was more than happy to spend as much time as you wanted at each location. Would definitely recommend this tour!

We took a daylong, private enclosed Jeep tour that included Monument Valley, Mystery Valley and the otherwise inaccessible Backcountry. Guide Benny was friendly and informative, regaling us with his personal family stories that explained life on the reservation. He showed us all of the viewpoints, pointing out things we would have missed, including petroglyphs. Great time to visit. No crowds.
