The coaster ride is well run and the staff are friendly and ensure you're comfortable on the operation of the sled prior to heading out on the run. The sled run was smooth and speed controllable to a level you felt comfortable with. They offer a discount for multiple runs on the same day. While a great experience I found the cost a bit steep for the length of the run. Overall I would recommend this attraction while in Gaitlinburg

It’s a fun distraction and they gave a discount for additional rides on the same day. There was no real line, and the ride at full speed took about 10 minutes. It was a very pleasant jaunt through the woods. I lost my hat & the employees went above & beyond to find it and called me to tell me they had it in the office later in the day. The one thing I wouldn’t do is buy the tickets through trip advisor. It wasn’t seem less to get the purchase to transfer to the moonshine mountain coaster, so that took a little extra effort & time by the employees.

Push the levers full forward and enjoy the ride! So much fun for a 65 and 66 yr old couple and my 65 yr old sister.
