Morning Rogue River Hellgate Canyon Half-Day Trip

Overview

The half-day trip on the Rogue River through Hellgate Canyon is our most scenic half-day trip. The forbidding walls of Hellgate Canyon rise out of the water at the rivers edge marking a dramatic point of transition into the whitewater downstream. As we float through the canyon osprey and eagles fly over head as the search the river for fish. This trip flows through two distinct gorges and concludes with two of the best class II rapids on the day section of the Rogue River. This is a great trip anyone wanting to learn to inflatable kayak or any family with younger kids wanting to raft.

We had an absolutely fabulous day! The weather was perfect and the River beautiful. We had the BEST guide ever Derek. Kept us totally informed explaining every little detail to us. OH and he outdid himself with our lunch....even down to the tablecloth!!! Way to go! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. We will be back again soon 😊👍🏻☀️

This was a great intro to riding the rapids. GF wants to do more extreme ones....I think I'm ok with little ones. Guides were great. Not much I can think to improve on. Food options nearby for breakfast are terrible so eat before.
