The Scotch Mist is a fun and fast sailing yacht, built in 1982 for racing by famed builder Bill Lee in Santa Cruz, California. In fact, she is the fastest production line sailboat of her size in the world, having won “first in class” in the prestigious Victoria-to-Maui Yacht race, besting her competition by over 24 hours.

Atomizing sprayers are used to disinfect all seating & boat areas & equipment. Sanitizing stations are set up at the booth & on-board the Scotch Mist. As of 3/27/22 Hawaii & Maui County have eliminated masking & social distancing requirements for outdoor activities such as our sailing adventures.

What a treat to be on a world-class sailing vessel - the 50' Santa Cruz. We're big sailors and this was so much nicer than motoring around on a crowded giant boat and so close to the water. You can hear the dolphins go past. Gear, food, drinks - all great. Really glad my friend recommended this trip.

We actually sailed! Many sailing excursions just turn the engine on and motor. We sailed and as saillra this was a fun sail. With real wind and blat speed we fleq throughbthe beautiful water. We saw several turtles while snorklkng. Captain skeeter and crew Allen were awesome.

Mahalo for the 4 out of 5 Stars. Let me respond to your comment. Our 4 hour Morning Snorkel Sail is NOT a "booze cruise" at that hour of the day. Our 50 foot monohull sailboat carries only 17 passengers for our family snorkel sails and also is not a 49 pax or 99 pax large catamaran vessel with its own on-board kitchen and serving locations. Our sailing trip does have its own "open bar" with complimentary wine, craft beers, juices and sodas BUT ONLY AFTER the in-water activities are completed for both safety and i9nsurance purposes as all responsible boating companies should be doing.
