I did two tours with Ilimo...one to Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods and the other to Mt. Evans. Both days were great. We got to summit both Peaks and enjoy some spectacular scenery. At the top of Pikes Peak, it was hailing while in Denver it was 100 degrees that day. Such a cool experience! The trip to Mt. Evans was my favorite day of my trip! The amphitheater was stunning and really interesting to learn about. Then we had lunch in Idaho Falls before making our way to the summit of Mt. Evans. Not only was it a stunning (albeit slightly scary) drive, but there were lots of marmots and mountain goats to watch. On our tour, we were lucky enough to watch two Pikas running around! My tours were wonderful, and I definitely recommend them. If it weren't so hot (it was 100 degrees the day I went) I would have loved a little more time to walk around the Garden of the Gods (maybe an hour rather than 45 minutes)... otherwise the experience was incredible!

Ilimo phoned the day before this anticipated trip and cancelled claiming that ā€œour vehicle was involved in a little accidentā€ and tried to flip us to a different trip (we did not accept). Odd that a ā€œlimoā€ company does not have reserve vehicles? Or, perhaps they cancelled because not enough people signed up for the trip? (I think other reviewers of this provider also noted a cancellations history.) In any event, we enjoyably did it on our own and saved $425.
