Tours Northwest is an excellent organization. Our tour guide Andreas was excellent. Unfortunately, we booked the Mt. Rainier Day tour on the last day they ran the tour this season. Weather was terrible and negatively impacted the experience for us. Andreas did the best he could with an ugly day. We made it to the Paradise stop, but snow, fog and terrible wind kept us from being outside. Disappointed that we really didn't get to experience the beauty everyone else talks about. I would book with Tours Northwest again, just be more mindful of weather conditions.

Our Guide Ron was very good. He is detailed and meticulous about everything to ensure we are comfortable. He showed us a lot of his personal collection of photos to allow us to understand the place we are visiting. This not only able to deepen our knowledge but also to make complex subject simple and easy to understand. The hike itself to see the Carter Fall is about 2.5 to 3.0 hours. You need to be at least fit and agile in order to do this. Mt. Rainier is mystical. You see her and you don't see her the next moment. I am fortunate to be able to take some of the nice shots of her. It can be cold and windy at the river bank, please dress appropriately. When it snow, the path can be slippery, a hiking stick can come in handy.
