It is recommended to dress in layers and wear comfortable walking shoes (hiking shoes preferred, in winter boots are best). In Nov – Jun, please dress for snowy conditions

The seasons, weather, and elevation partially determine what you’ll see on your tour. During the weekdays, mid October-April, there are limited food services available in the National Park. Customers will have an opportunity to purchase food en route. Also, the Henry M Jackson Visitor Center located at Paradise, has limited hours during these months. On weekdays when the Visitor Center is closed, our tour will still visit Paradise if road conditions allow. No refunds will be offered unless the park is closed

My son climbing 6,735 ft. up the mountain. His first time hiking up a mountain and first time in the snow. He went on the trail with our Tour Guide Lucas.

Cory was an awesome tour guide, he was very efficient and clear and gave us plenty of time to wander around and enjoy the sites at our own pace. He also had good insight, was funny and really approachable, he also knew that we were tired after all the hikes and blackberry pie and turned off the lights and let us nap on the return drive. Really enjoyed all the stops along the way, the little coffee shop had a variety of unique syrups. We tried the butter pecan, yumm. It had snowed the evening before our trip which did mean the mountain road was closed and visibility of the mountain wasn't the best but that's the Seattle weather you gamble with. On the plus side to that we got to enjoy many hikes and photo ops in the snow at Mt rainier national Park, all of which were unique and fun. (Especially for 2 Aussies whose main goal was to see and experience good snow haha) The rest of the tour group also made the tour pretty special, we all got along and had similar interests in the plan for the day but we were given the opportunity to do stuff as a group and individually. We bought lunch at the first stop (snacks stop) but a few had lunch at the Longmire Inn and said it was very enjoyable. All in all a wonderful trip and tour and was a highlight of our seattle trip.
