It is recommended to dress in layers and wear comfortable walking shoes (hiking shoes preferred, in winter boots are best). In Nov – Jun, please dress for snowy conditions

The seasons, weather, and elevation partially determine what you’ll see on your tour. During the weekdays, mid October-April, there are limited food services available in the National Park. Customers will have an opportunity to purchase food en route. Also, the Henry M Jackson Visitor Center located at Paradise, has limited hours during these months. On weekdays when the Visitor Center is closed, our tour will still visit Paradise if road conditions allow. No refunds will be offered unless the park is closed

Had a great trip. Guide was knowledgeable. Kept is on schedule. Told us about the history of the area. Stopped for food and bathroom breaks. Great trip.

Before going on this tour, be aware the temperature in the National Park might be 15 degrees (Fahrenheit) colder than Seattle. The day I visited in late October there was snow and ice at higher elevations. Unfortunately it was too cloudy to get a view of Mt. Ranier but we did see smaller mountains and impressive scenery. The guide was very personable and had a good knowledge of plant species. I was able to buy a good lunch at the Fred Meyer store en route to the park.

Thank you for the review, we are glad you still were able to enjoy your experience with the clouds present. Yes the weather is definitely changing and we suggest to dress in layers especially depending on the State you are traveling from you may not be use to such a drastic change in temperatures.

Lucas was our tour guide and he made the experience that much better as he was very knowledgeable and made sure we had the best time. I would definitely recommend this tour as well as Lucas as their tour guide.
