What To Expect

Muir Woods National Monument

John Muir was an environmentalist who is credited with the establishment of the national parks in the West Coast including Yosemite. Muir Woods is 16 miles from San Francisco. Some of the Redwood trees are over 2,000 years old and stand over 300 ft tall.

Tiburon

Tiburon is a historic village with several waterfront restaurants. Angel Island is only a 10 minute ferry ride away. This is one of the hidden gems of the Bay Area. It's the ideal place to end a tour for a families that want to go to explore Angel Island for the afternoon.

Sausalito

Sausalito is a Mediterranean village perched on the hillside with breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay. There are numerous waterfront restaurants, boutique shops and art galleries. It's the perfect place for lunch after the Muir Woods tour.

Muir Beach Overlook

This is one the more unique vista points with stunning views of the rugged California coastline, Pacific ocean, Stinson Beach, and Bolinas.

This was a great way for our family of 6 adults to tour. Pep was a fantastic hostess. She provided us with interesting information, accommodated our schedule and requests, and provided snacks and water. I would definitely recommend it!

Pep was wonderful guide ,very experienced & knowledgeable in SFO and surrounding area. Muir woods and Sausalito tour was an amazing experience. Redwoods and giant trees was amazing..thanks to Pep and Alegro private tours for taking care of us. We would always recommend Pep and her services.
