Wouldn’t rush here again. First visit to New York and was on the hunt for interesting and fun things to do. The name of this place popped up a few time so I booked a ticket hoping for a fun end to my trip. The staff were lovely, it’s the main reason I’ve given it 3 stars. The ice cream though unlimited was hit and miss. The vegan chocolate was amazing, the peppermint lacked flavour for the most part and the rest I tried were just meh. The rest of this ‘museum’ was simply children’s activities and instagram photo ops. Not great if you’re a solo traveler, though the staff were nice enough that if there’s one around when you want a picture, I’m sure they’d take it. (I’m not a massive instagrammer so didn’t see any point) Had to say a left disappointed. Out of the whole experience I only really noticed one real board of very limited global ice creams. Nothing else notably interesting. Not even a smidge of how ice cream came about or where it originated from. If you’re looking for a photo op then this is the place for you! If not then save yourself the $40 and go elsewhere.

Not a museum. The only educational info about ice cream is on a wall in small tiles where you wait to enter the “museum”. Actually it’s a route with activities for small kids. Took us thirty minutes to walk the route -that includes stops at the four or so places they offered ice cream in a cup or cone. One stop offered a vegan option. Usually two choices. Not premium ice cream. Don’t get pulled in by the “all you can eat ice cream” line. You wouldn’t want to eat more than they offer, if that. Got to hand it to whomever thought of this. A real money maker.
