Mush Your Own Sled Dog Team (Summer/Fall Tour)

Overview

This is the only place in Alaska where you can mush your own team of dogs in the summer!

This is not a just a tour kennel; it is the training grounds and homestead of 4-time Iditarod champion, Dallas Seavey. All the dogs are either retired racing dogs (many have won the Iditarod), are currently on the race team, or are the next generation in training to become the next great champions! Our dogs are active and training year-round. As a guest musher here, you become part of Dallas Seavey Racing's year-round training program.

The group size for this experience is usually 6 or less people, with a guide assigned to each group, creating a very personal experience.

All of our dogs are extremely friendly, and love attention. Cuddle puppies, romp with young dogs, or walk with champions.

Our group of 6 (including my 83 year old mother and 13 year old son) had a blast. Puppy time followed by the mushing run---all dogs are super friendly and the experience is terrific. Highly recommended for all dog lovers.

We had a blast! We loved spending time with the puppies and all the dogs! They were so excited to get to work! We thoroughly enjoyed our ride and getting to see the dogs do their thing! It was a definite highlight of our Alaska vacation!

An absolutely amazing adventure. Chad was a fantastic guide and the whole crew were great people. Worth every penny. Dogs were amazingly friendly, trail experience was lots of fun
