We just did the winter mush your own sled dog team tour and it was amazing. We brought our 7 and 4 year olds with us and they rode as passengers while my husband and I each drove a sled. We had a blast and we learned so much about the sport. Everyone there was so friendly and knowledgeable. You could tell their dogs were very well taken care of. There are several dog sled tours to pick from in this area of Alaska and I’m confident we picked the best one. It was fun to see how a real Iditarod homestead operates as well as get that unique experience of driving your own sled and team of dogs. I’d recommend this activity to anyone - it is well worth the money.

Awesome experience! This is my third time doing this, each with visitors, once in the summer & once in the winter previously, each time with different kennels. And this was by far the best! Friendly & knowledgeable crew. Got to mush your very own sled. Lots of puppies! Couldn’t have been better. Thanks guys!

Amazing afternoon touring the sled dog training area, playing with the young pups, and best of all, mushing sled dog teams through the gorgeous trail on a snowy winters day!! Issac and Becky were FABULOUS!!! Highly recommend!!!
