It was an enjoyable day. We had a chance to see different parts of the area. After this we decided we need to go back and spend more time in Charleston. Each of the excursions were informative. The guides were personable and knowledgeable. The lunch on the boat trip was quite good as well

Carriage ride was excellent. Boat ride very good. Not enough time for plantation. House was newer. So not so impressive as if you had been vintage. Tram tour excellent. Slave houses moving. Bus driver now always as informative as should have been.

It was difficult for some people to find the bus as the Dillard's where we met the bus has three entrances. The bus driver, Hank, was fantastic! The carriage ride was the highlight of this trip. We only had 20 minutes to shop in the market, which was not enough time, and is unfortunate for the vendors. The boat trip was OK, best part of this was the Fort and some dolphins. The sandwich lunch meal was good. Boone Plantation is over-hyped. The original building isn't even there and everything in the house is purchased to give a feel to the era and visitors are not allowed upstairs. The tram ride is not worth it unless you want to see what they have planted. The guide was a bit annoying. The slave homes and the presentations were the best part. They encourage you to do the house, then the tram. I would skip the tram and spend time in the slave homes. We did not have enough time to even get through all the slave home presentations and missed the gullough (sp?) presentation because it was given only twice that afternoon.
