My husband and I enjoyed our day trip to see Charleston during our Myrtle Beach stay. The bus was large and clean and our driver did an excellent job. The only downside was hour late for the first event...the carriage ride. It was very disappointing to us that the carriage ride was cut short, rather than the shopping time. We felt the carriage ride and our tour guide/driver was the highlight of the trip and would have really enjoyed the opportunity to have the whole tour instead of the quick version. We felt we paid for the whole tour...not for a chance to shop. The harbor tour would have been better if we weren't the last ones on the boat and could only have seats below deck and on the left side of the boat...the poorest area to see anything being pointed out. The boat guide did do a good job of providing us with a lot of history on the area. Boone Plantation is beautiful...definitely take the tram ride around the property. Overall, for the price, I would recommend the day trip to anyone wanting a quick visit to Charleston.

From start to finish this was the perfect day out. Coach arrived on time, fabulous horse drawn tour of historic Charleston, excellent guide (Dana). Harbour boat trip was light hearted and very informative, excellent packed lunch too. Finally, tour of the Plantation House and slave cottages rounded off the day. It helped that the weather was glorious. I would recommend this day trip.

Some friends and us took the Charleston tour from Myrtle Beach. It was wonderful. It was led by true professionals from the bus driver to the carriage tour guide to the boat captain to the plantation guide. I highly recommend it. Our bus driver took our bus into some very small areas without a hitch. He never even ran over a curb in the short turns :)!
