Pretty good trip with just a few hiccups. We saw part of downtown. They only let you into some areas, and limit how many tours go into a given area at a time. The lunch on the boat was good, but if you want a vegetarian sandwich, then you need to tell them, other wise it is turkey or ham. On the plantation tour there was some miscommunication about when we would get into the house. We also had to leave part way through the Gullah story, which was very good, to get on the bus. Our bus driver was nice. There are no rest rooms on the bus that we were aware of. We did get a stop at the visitor center in a suburb before entering Charleston. It is a big bus.

Great tour. Better than driving yourself for first timers. The only negative...not much time to really look at the market. Our carriage driver was great!

It was an enjoyable day. We had a chance to see different parts of the area. After this we decided we need to go back and spend more time in Charleston. Each of the excursions were informative. The guides were personable and knowledgeable. The lunch on the boat trip was quite good as well
