I cannot imagine a smoother tour experience. The bus left Myrtle Beach and we were able to relax on the ride to Charleston. When we arrived at each destination, the tours were just waiting for us and ready to whisk us away whether by carriage, boat, or just for the tour of the Boone Hall Plantation. I will, and have, recommended this tour to others. Great overview of Charleston.

We were so excited to see Charleston, but once we finally arrived after a long drive, we felt more like intruders than guests. The carriage ride was crammed with people and we saw just a few streets with no time to get any real photos or really learn anything interesting about Charleston other than dates of when churches were built. After the carriage ride, we were dumped into the market place and wandered around for a bit, but didn't get to experience anything "Charleston" like. Next we were loaded back on the bus for a harbor ride that was less than interesting, and required us to sit still again. The best part of the tour was the plantation. Tour staff didn't give instructions as to where we were supposed to go (two tours on the site were included, but most of the bus passengers didn't even know that. We found out by overhearing a site tour guide talking to a co-worker!). Unfortunately, a big storm came through which cut our tour short and forced us back on the bus over an hour before we actually had to leave. When it was time to leave, we had to wait and additional 15 minutes because some of the group didn't know where to meet the bus. Traffic on the way back and the delay in leaving the Plantation meant that we were at least 1 hour and 15 minutes late in getting back to Myrtle Beach! Do the math...that's a whole lot of sitting around! I say go to Charleston on your own and explore! We felt like it was a real waste of money!

Good day trip to Charleston. A good value for the money (booked online with a coupon). Excellent driver. Carriage, boat and plantation tours were interesting. The lunch was tasty and satisfying. Missed the trolley tour of the plantation because of a thunderstorm. I would not recommend this trip to people who have difficulty walking. We do a bit of walking from the carriage ride to the bus, at the pier to and from the boat, and again at the plantation. Bring a camera but be aware that you are not permitted to take pictures in the Boone Plantation house. As a result of this tour, I plan to visit Charleston in the future. Thanks Charleston Adventures.
