We booked the private wine tour through our hotel concierge, and we were really impressed with the incredible service. David, the driver, had an incredible amount of knowledge about all of the wineries and adapted the itinerary based on our interests. He even went out of his way to pick us up some cheese and salami for snacks in between tastings. I can't speak highly enough about the service and our wine tour experience.

I had contacted a number of tour companies, but David's response was timely and engaging. We talked about what I wanted on the tour. I had three specific wineries selected, and when he heard them, he knew we were looking for great cabs. He made all the arrangements, and we exchanged emails a couple of days ahead of the tour date. Susan picked us up right on time and we started on an exceptional 8-hour wine tour. We visited our selected wineries, had a great lunch at a winery selected by Susan, and visited another of Susan's recommendations. While driving in the crazy Saturday traffic, it was as if we were traveling with family, touching not only on Napa, but children and grandchildren. However, at the destination, everything was highly professional. Susan's insights on the valley, the vineyards, and wineries were so informative. We also discussed restaurants, places to stay on future visits, and more. While on our tour, David called to see how things were going, as he was traveling to conduct another tour. David and Susan Locke exceeded all our expectations. My wife said she could not imagine a better day in Napa, and I heartily agree.

We were a keen for a tour with the personal touch and we were absolutely blown away by our experience. Consort Wine Tours were delightful to deal with - from David calling after the booking to see what grape varietals we like, to Susan's friendly knowledgeable tour on the day itself. And including a great Bouchon picnic lunch.. Having somebody drive us in the valley and choose the wineries made it all feel very effortless. David and Susan chose some beautiful boutique wineries for us that we wouldn't have visited otherwise, and they were also very accommodating on the day itself. We covered a lot of ground, but were never rushed. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Consort - we loved it so much we ended up buying a dozen bottles to take home... Lots of good memories to be had when we uncork them.
