Your friendly, knowledgeable guide will keep you entertained with commentary and stories about Napa’s history and wine culture.

Overall fantastic way to spend a day and learn about Napa area, wine-making, and get around. Especially if you are a first time Napa visitor (I was) this is a great way to orient yourself to wine country. I always look at negative reviews before booking a tour, and I'll say each one I read turned out to be completely false, or the reviewer didn't do his/her homework. Yes, you need to purchase your tastings at each tour yourself, but this is clearly indicated in the sign up and if you've done any research ahead of time you'll find it is standard for any Napa tour. Yes, your tour may be subject to change. Good luck finding one that is not as the touring company can't control conflicts with other private events, closings, acts of god. You are paying for: a) transportation (look at the cost of Ubering and compare, as well as organizing any private tastings) b) catered lunch c) outstanding tour guide who will teach you about Napa regions, winemaking. Leif was funny, knowledgeable, and patient. d) A fun experience with a group e) Likely at least one winery tour behind the scenes. We toured the indoor facility and got to pluck grapes from the vine to sample at WhiteHall As an added bonus, if you are subject to motion sickness (especially after drinking) the open-air trolley is a great way around it. It was everything I wanted when I signed up.

My wife and I had a great time on this tour. We had 25 people on the tour and all were very friendly. The lunch was great, and our driver did his best to keep us happy along the way. I would have rated the tour as 5 stars, but one of the stops was a waste of time. I believe it was called White Hall Lane Winery. It was not a winery, just a store and tasting room, and on top of that, they had us tasting some wine from Oregon. I thought we would only be visiting real Napa wineries, where the wine was actually produced on-site, using grapes from the valley, so this was disappointing. Another minor issue was that the speakers in the back of the trolley were not operating, just the ones at the front of the car, so it was hard to understand some of the drivers narration. We really enjoyed the Andretti Winery, which was the last stop, I would advise future patrons to check in advance which wineries the trolley is scheduled to stop at prior to boarding, and so you don't repeat ones you have already tasted the day before. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.

My husband & I really enjoyed our day out on the Wine Trolley yesterday. Our driver was Leif & he expertly guided us to 4 different vineyards in this open air, fun little vehicle. The wineries were helpful & accommodating & our picnic lunch excellent. It was a fun day & a great way of seeing the Napa vineyards without either of us being the designated driver. I would highly recommend it, especially when the weather is good.

So good to hear, we'll let Leif know you appreciated it! Always better to have a plan to get around before the tastings start.
