3 stops, a cold turkey sandwich, chips and cookie for a picnic lunch. No information just taste and purchase. Way to much time spent at each stop.

We would recommend this tour to a friend if they knew what they were getting into. The wines we tasted were excellent but we didn't realize that there would be a $20 to $25 fee at each stop for wine tasting. It did say in the tour description that there is a cost for the tastings but I guess we thought maybe it was an overall cost of $20 - $25. The disappointing thing is that we thought we'd learn all about Napa Valley, how grapes are grown, specific things about the vineyards, how the wine is bottled/processed - the whole wine making experience. While they did touch on that, it wasn't very detailed and only when we asked questions did we really find things out. The first stop was okay and the man that did our wine pours was knowledgeable and friendly. The second stop was bad. The lady gave us minimal information and just didn't seem to like her job. The third stop made the tour worth it. The lady there had only been doing tours for two days she said but she was the most fun and knowledgeable of all. At this stop we did learn more about the bottling of wine, etc. And, at this stop, if we bought a bottle of wine the wine tasting fee was waived - very much appreciated that. If you really want a tour to learn more about Napa Valley and wine processing, don't take this tour.
