We visited Savannah and wanted a way to see a lot of the city one day. This tour seemed to work for us. We were able to get off at stops and linger, with trollies running every 20 minutes we would just catch a bus when we were done in an area.
The trolley drivers knew so so much. Our 10 year old was fascinated by all of the history and info, as were my husband and myself. Our 4 year old didn’t really know what was happening but he loved riding a trolley. So it was a fantastic way to entertain our family of 4. We all really enjoyed it. It was easy and fun and I’d recommend it.
The only “cons” were that when it’s hot, it’s still hot on the trolley. Hot and muggy. Dress accordingly. There was also zero social distancing on the trolley. It’s open air technically, but the people sitting behind you are RIGHT behind you. So if you’re being extra cautious right now, this is not for you. Masks are not required so there’s not really a great Covid- friendly option. However, if you’re feeling brave, it really is a fun family activity and an easy way to get around the historic district and learn some fascinating history!

Thank you so much for your review and for choosing the locally owned and operated company. We are happy to hear that your Historic On/Off Tour was great! All day transportation plus a fully narrated tour is a great way to explore Savannah and we are glad that your kids had a wonderful time as well!
Savannah has issued a mandatory mask mandate so masks are required aboard the trolley. We try to enforce all guests to wear masks throughout the entire tour. Unfortunately, some guests do not always abide by the rules. During a tour, the guide is speaking and maneuvering through the district so he/she can not always enforce mask wearing.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us! We hope you had a wonderful time in Savannah and will join us again in the future!
