What To Expect

Old Savannah Tours

Trolleys operate on a 20-minute pickup schedule from 9:00am to 4:30pm for your convenience. Find a seat and begin your 1.5-hour tour of the history of Savannah. It is August 5th, 2020. I reserved this tour a couple of months ago, they sent me a mobile voucher to show it was paid in full. It went like clockwork no issues getting checked in. I loaded on bus at 9am, it was just me on the first tour bus. Each driver narrates through the city. They stop at 16 different locations, telling you what is suffificate about each stop. Each driver is very well versed in the history of the city. All buses are open air, even at 95 degrees you always had a good breeze. I went around the perimeter first, it lasted 90 minutes, then I got back on the bus again and hopped on hopped off on every stop I was interested in. I was on tour all together from 9am till 3pm. Loved every minute of it. Would highly recommend.

This was a great way to see and learn about Savannah’s historic area. It was very helpful in identifying some of the places where we wanted to spend more time during our visit. Our guide, “JB”, was exceptionally knowledgeable!

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Our concierge, Becky, made wonderful reservations for us, from our Holiday Inn hotel. The trolley was clean and very comfortable. Our guide, Gertrude, was fabulous . She was dressed in a vintage outfit that matched the tour. Along the way, other passengers hopped on the bus. Forrest Gump, Declaration of Independence signer, and a pirate all made little presentations. The grandkids enjoyed it also. Its a great way to get an overview of the city. I highly recommend this one.
