A bus tour! How exciting! Not.
But it was. I forgot Savannah has a long and rich history and that is what made the tour interesting.
I think the best way of doing this tour is the stay on tour because there is that much to take in (city layout, particular places, architecture, and notoriety); and if you come back the same week with your receipt these white buses only charge you another $7 to take the get off and on tour. The off and on tour really is needed even if you do not want to do any shopping.
Each of the drivers adds something to the stories so no two tours are actually the same. A plus for our tour was Forest Gump got on at the stop where part of the movie was shot. The actor did a fine job, too.
Yep, take the stay on tour, that night plan where you want to stop the next day, then pay the $7 tomorrow and enjoy a long full day.
