Informative and a great way to see the city. We discovered that doing 1 day on the overview trip and then upgrading to the on/off tour the next day was great. Parking is an issue in the city and being able to get off whenever and wherever is a great option. The overview pass cost covered the 1st day and then upgrading for $7 allows you to take both options for 2 days. Great deal! Being driven by many different drivers, I have to say some are easier to understand than others. It is frustrating to be on a tour and you can't hear or understand what is being said. This was not the norm but I suggest the tour company should be aware of this.

We arrived late on a Tuesday and tried to find our way around. We concluded (erroneously) that Savannah was just another ho-hum city. But the next day, our experience with this tour, with this company, and especially with our driver, Hampton helped us appreciate the beauty, history and significance of this place. Always informative and upbeat, Hampton worked in light comedy and other tidbits to enhance our experience. He was outstanding! He was also helpful and understanding with those of us who might not be as spry as we once were. Awesome experience!

I booked with this tour because they offered an overview tour at a lower cost than the hop/on hop/off tour. The tour starts at the visitor's center. The ride is slow through the historic portions of the city with the driver telling stories about the parks, buildings and statues as we passed. Lots of good info presented in a comfortable setting.
