What To Expect

Old Savannah Tours

This was the best way to get a broad overview of the city pretty quickly. We had Big E as our driver and that made it AMAZING! We laughed, sang, saw beautiful sites, and found all the best foodie sites with some insider tips on saving some $$. Thanks for a great trip around Savannah Big E!!

We arrived in Savannah at 1:00 for a couple of days to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. As our room was not yet ready, we walked to the visitor center. We met Pam and she suggested that we do the overview tour to get an idea of the lay out of the city and to know what we wanted to visit. We decided on the overview tour and not the hop on and hop off only because it was towards the end of the day. If we come back, we will start with this tour in the morning and use the hop on hop off. The tour guide was one of the most knowledgeable tour guides I have ever had. I wish I could remember his name. There was SO much information to take in. Pam was correct in that this gave us an overview of the city and I took notes on places that I wanted to visit the next day. I would highly recommend this tour to couples, families, anyone. we enjoyed doing this, because you can get on and off. but is a good way to see the historical quarters, then choose to return. a little slow in route because it needs to go back to ONE center point and boarding point, needs more flexibility.
