What To Expect

Old Savannah Tours

Trolleys operate on a 20-minute pickup schedule from 9:00am to 4:30pm for your convenience. Find a seat and begin your 1.5-hour tour of the history of Savannah. I really recommend starting your day with the tour. Helps you get a feel for the city. See the places you want to go back to see later. Get the highlights with some history of the city and you may even get a surprise visitor somewhere along the way. A way to relax and let someone else do the driving.

We'd never been to Savannah before and were so glad we took the tour. I think it would have been stressful to try to find things for the first time if you just drove into town. We were all amazed at how many historical sites there were in such a small area. We loved the characters who jumped on the trolley at certain points and told us stories about their lives. We had 2, but would like to see more of them. Note: don't get this tour company mixed up with another. There are several with similar names. Be sure you know the name and exact address of the one you want! This one uses white trolleys and their address is 250 MLK.

We took this 90' tour in 90+ degree heat. Not wise. Need air-conditioned instead of open air conveyance. Hard to see steeples, etc as no roof windows. On & off tour would be better, but we had 22 mo twins. The hostess gave a great spiel.
