Great tour guide very entertaining and knowledgeable First time in savannah and great to get a good overview of the area

Although the staff is friendly, we did not enjoy the tour. There was zero mention of the contributions of the enslaved. And we all know Savannah was built on their slave labor. The enslaved are and how people gained their wealth and there was no acknowledgment of that. It felt like revisionist and whitewashed history. The hostess made this comment “The Civil War should never have happened” but did not elaborate any further. At that point, we couldn’t bear it anymore so we hopped off early.

The excellent history story telling by the tour guide, Joe; the personalized stories from the two actors; the promptness of the trolley; the superb driving of the trolley operator - amazing!!
