What To Expect

Old Savannah Tours

Trolleys operate on a 20-minute pickup schedule from 9:00am to 4:30pm for your convenience. Find a seat and begin your 1.5-hour tour of the history of Savannah. This was a wonderful tour! Our guide took us on a leisurely tour and gave us lots of interesting information as we travelled the city. It's a great way to begin a visit to Savannah to get an overview and then you can choose places to visit. If I had more time I would have taken the hop on and hop off as this allowed you to see places of interest right away. I did like the fact that we had one tour guide which wouldn't have occurred if we did the hop on hop off trip. One warning: there are many trolley tours so make sure you choose the correct one to book your trip.

Our tour guide, Mr. Komedy, was a hoot! Mixed humor with history to keep it interesting. Beautiful homes, interesting narrative, gorgeous scenery and convenient stops to get off and explore further. And all the folks working for the company were very nice and helpful.

The tour was a good way to orient yourself to Savannah early in your stay. Along the way several characters from Savannah history boarded our bus and did an excellent job of explaining their history in Savannah.
