So much history. The visitors center has a tremendous amount of material, mostly to read. Take both of the tours. You need to sign up for the Mission Control tour, which is separate from the rocket tour which is included with the general admission. Lots of walking. Brings back memories about sitting in front of the tv waiting for the lunar module to land. Walk the Saturn V rocket to see how so many people collaborated to put men on the moon. The movies are great and run many times throughout the day, especially the through an astronauts eyes. Good food at the cafe, order at the kiosks and pick the food up at the different stations. Try the corned beef sandwich, called the smuggler, patterned after an astronaut who smuggled one on board a launch. Tour the 747 which transported the space shuttle. Again, lots of walking but SO worth it. I’m still in awe.

You don't understand the scale of the Saturn 5 rocket until you stand next to it. The smallest of the three stages is huge!

We went to the space centre on an organised trip, the weather was awful and got soaked on the trip around the space centre/town. I done the 3d ride into space you had to pay extra for this but it was totally worth it, great experience. There were a few talks on aspects of space life but some were at the same time so we didn’t get round them all due to being on an organised trip.
