What To Expect

Marathon Village

Serving as a model for adaptive re-purposing of historic structures, Marathon Village has become a diverse destination where artists, performers, designers, business professionals, and inventors co-exist. They have a first-floor retail experience like no other that includes flagship stores from the History Channels’ American Pickers to legendary whiskey makers, Jack Daniels. In addition to shopping, they have a Marathon Motor Works museum showcasing five of the remaining eight Marathon vehicles located in the original MMW showroom. Shops typically close around 5pm.

The Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville honors all musicians regardless of genre or instrument. The MHOF timeline starts with the beginning of recorded music and inductees are nominated by current members of the American Federation of Musicians and by other music industry professionals.

My husband and two sons, ages 18 and 20, thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was a rainy night but it didn't damper our trip. Our guide, Little John, and our driver, Rusty, were awesome. Rusty was so helpful with assisting with loading and unloading and drove the trolley without a problem. Little John made the trip fun and informative at the same time. We stopped for a drink at a place called The Local. An awesome band with a guy named Brandon Wills. He and the band were soooo good and easy to listen to. We enjoyed singing along with a few songs. What an awesome night!

Waited till the 3rd night we were in town and wished we had came the first night. Sherri Lee was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable of the history of Nashville and brought a personal touch to the tour. Dean was our chauffeur and did a fantastic job. A must for anyone coming for a vacation!!!!!!
