Marathon Village

Serving as a model for adaptive re-purposing of historic structures, Marathon Village has become a diverse destination where artists, performers, designers, business professionals, and inventors co-exist. They have a first-floor retail experience like no other that includes flagship stores from the History Channels’ American Pickers to legendary whiskey makers, Jack Daniels. In addition to shopping, they have a Marathon Motor Works museum showcasing five of the remaining eight Marathon vehicles located in the original MMW showroom. Shops typically close around 5pm.

We arrived to the meeting spot 15min before the trolley was supposed to arrive, and even paid $30.00 for parking right at the meeting spot. At 7pm there was not a trolley in site! We stuck around outside in the cold 30 degree weather for 35min, tried to call the provided number, no answer and no trolley! Viator couldnt contact the company either. This is a scam, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. Hoping for a FULL reimbursement as this was a waste of our time and money. Also an extreme inconvenience because we went out of our way to head downtown/pay for parking just for this experience.

Sheri Lee and Christopher were absolutely great! My wife and I enjoyed the ride and learning all the great facts about music in the city. Definitely worth the two hours of time we had a blast!

Our tour guide “Bert” with an E made for a enjoyable and fun night. He was mister entertainment his singing and pole dancing made it a great night. If you go on a night tour with this company make sure it is with Bert with an E.
