National Corvette Museum
The National Corvette Museum is a showcase to America's sports car.  Start your tour with a short film about the history of the Corvette and the Corvette Museum.  As you walk though the museum you'll see exhibits featuring over 70 Corvettes in periodic settings including a mid-century barbershop, service station and dealership.  You'll see Corvette prototypes, one-of-kind cars, and racing champs.  Enjoy hands-on activities in KidZone , trivia kiosks, and the "Corvette Cave In” exhibit.  This exhibit takes visitors back to the early morning hours of February 12, 2014 when the earth opened up inside the Museum’s Skydome, swallowing the classic Corvettes.  The Museum's Skydome offers a glimpse of the size and depth of the sinkhole as well as the retrieved Corvettes. Guests are also invited to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby. The Corvette Store offers apparel, collectibles, home and gift items.  An on-site 50's-inspired Corvette Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.

As a specialty museum, it was very impressive, and much larger than I expected. The displays were top quality, and the facility itself was very nice. I'm not personally a Corvette fanatic, but I do appreciate a nice sports car, and the way they showcased the cars was fun to see.

We got here early, when we left it was very busy. There was a large parking lot, we walked past 2022 Vette’s that are being picked up today. Before paying admission we walked past the corvette library, archives, conference center, Stingray Grill, huge gift shop & bathroom that followed the corvette theme. Corvettes are manufactured here in Bowling Green, delivered and repaired. We paid $15 and spent :90 here. We saw a lot of pristine corvettes identified by year, model & engine. We saw race cars, concept cars, those with famous owners & some that were damaged in the 2014 sinkhole. There were some interactive exhibits, a simulator for $10 and a children’s play area. We ended in a huge gift shop with the usual hats & caps, plus toys, bar ware, furniture, models, manuals, clothing, car parts, housewares…. Items can be purchased on line.
