What To Expect

National Corvette Museum

The National Corvette Museum is a showcase to America's sports car. Start your tour with a short film about the history of the Corvette and the Corvette Museum. As you walk though the museum you'll see exhibits featuring over 70 Corvettes in periodic settings including a mid-century barbershop, service station and dealership. You'll see Corvette prototypes, one-of-kind cars, and racing champs. Enjoy hands-on activities in KidZone , trivia kiosks, and the "Corvette Cave In” exhibit. This exhibit takes visitors back to the early morning hours of February 12, 2014 when the earth opened up inside the Museum’s Skydome, swallowing the classic Corvettes. The Museum's Skydome offers a glimpse of the size and depth of the sinkhole as well as the retrieved Corvettes. Guests are also invited to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby. The Corvette Store offers apparel, collectibles, home and gift items. An on-site 50's-inspired Corvette Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and snacks.

The Corvette Museum is a must see for Corvette fans. Others will find it an interesting history of an American classic car.

This museum and cafe was a nice visit. Good, reasonably priced food (we paid card) and the exhibits were easy-to-follow and engaging. Wheelchair accessible. Free parking. We bought tickets online and the weirdest part about it is that they are good for whenever...no specific date or time...just whenever, for an entire year. Tickets to here would be a great gift to someone interested or relatively local/planning to travel locally. The Corvettes that experienced the sink hole is what intrigued us most. I've been on multiple cave tours that reference the sinkhole here so we had to check it out. I really, really love that they DIDN'T fix 5 out of the 8 affected cars. I understand they were beyond repair, but they are incredibly fascinating to witness in their current condition. At the Cafe, the grilled cheese with bacon/jalepenos/swiss/BLACKBERRY JAM???? was pretty good.

Great automobile museum. Even the sinkhole incident of 2014 is a feature set of displays in the museum. Good history lesson on the car and informative as to the technology in the Corvette and in future models. Seeing how many people have contributed to this place was awe inspiring and a tribute to the popularity of this vehicle,
